Sue M Moenter
Sue Moenter did her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Illinois, and her PhD in Physiology with Fred Karsch at the University of Michigan, where she began her career’s work understanding the central control of reproduction and in particular the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) system. Her postdoctoral years were spent at University of California, San Francisco. In 1994, she was appointed faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine and the University of Virginia, where she remained until 2010, when she moved to her current position of professor in the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology at the University of Michigan.
