Javier E Stern
I obtained my MD degree in 1991 (University of Buenos Aires, Argentina) and PhD degree in 1994 (University of Buenos Aires, Argentina). I then worked as postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, University of Tennessee, Memphis, with Dr. William Armstrong, before joining the faculty at Wright State University. I am currently a Professor in the Department of Physiology, at the Medical College of Georgia, Georgia Regents University. My research program focuses on elucidating neurobiological mechanisms controlling neuronal activity in central neuronal circuits involved in autonomic and neuroendocrine regulation, both in health and disease conditions.
