Elinor Sullivan
Elinor L. Sullivan, Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Portland, Portland, OR and Assistant Scientist in the Division of Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism at Oregon National Primate Research Center, Beaverton, OR.
Dr. Sullivan’s research examines the impact of maternal high fat diet consumption and obesity on the behavioral regulation of offspring. Elinor received her postdoctoral training at the University of California San Francisco and OHSU. She received her Ph.D. in Physiology from OHSU in 2000 and her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Willamette University. Dr. Sullivan is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Portland and an Assistant Scientist at the Oregon National Primate Research Center. Dr. Sullivan is actively involved in training future scientists through her teaching and mentoring of University of Portland undergraduate students.
