Hidetaka Suga

Hidetaka Suga is a Clinical Assitant Professor of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Nagoya University Hospital. He completed clinical training at Japanese Red Cross Nagoya Daini Hospital and decided to major in endocrinology. He was educated and received Ph.D. at Nagoya University in 2008, then went to RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology. He established the differentiation method from mouse ES cells into hypothalamo-hypophyseal tissues at RIKEN. He returned to Nagoya University, and is now trying to make hypothalamus or pituitary gland from human ES / iPS cells.
